We have added a few fields that are important for yourself, for the guest, for your partners and for your cleaners. These include Check-in time, Check-out time, Guest notes, Host notes, Guest location and email. How can this information be used? I can name a few examples.
This is one of the most common question asked from a guest: When will you arrive? By filling in the field on Hostaway, you no longer have to scroll through the conversation. You can also set up automated emails to the guest, such as this one:
Hello Molly, you told me you will arrive at 3pm. I just wanted to check with you in case your schedule has changed.
Sometimes you want to keep information about the guest available for yourself, your partners and cleaners. You can also use this field to pre-schedule an automated arrival message customized for the guest.
Host notes are handy in case you share information with partners or want to make a note for yourself. If you are performing maintenance or want a reminder for yourself, just add a note in the Host notes such as this one:
Remember to ensure the new water heater is functional before the guest arrives.
This is another field that will make your guest feel welcome. You can define the country and the city of departure and send a welcome message such as this one, all automatically:
Hi Brian! How was your trip from Frankfurt? I hope our place will make you feel at home and wanted to wish you a lovely stay!
Login to your Hostaway account and go to your page reservations.
Click on the option details behind the reservation you like to adjust.
Click on the Edit booking button.
Make the adjustments you need and click on the save changes button.
